The Grey Voice speaks and it is dangerous. On a surface level, yes, it can sound like the typical inner critic. The one that questions you, doubts you, picks at your confidence. But on the other end of the spectrum, it can be the beginning of a mental health crisis. It can spiral from hesitation into paralysis, from self-doubt into self-erasure. Our Grey Voices can become so loud, so convincing, that we no longer see our beauty. We cannot recognize our genius. We cannot see our gift to the world.
